V for VENDETTA: BOOK, FILM, IDEOLOGY
Hi every :)|
I watched V4V two weeks ago, and if I'm not spending time celebrating this movie it's because you already know how it's wonderful.
(Yes, you do forgive me: my English is second-rated, but I'm Italian - 21 years old, female. Nice to meet you.)
Saying first I've not read the comic, I would ask you: why the word "Vendetta", in Italian? (Maybe I could find this info in this LJ's archive; in this case, could you link the post?)
In V4V-TheMovie I found a lot of quotations... The five "V", Vi Veri Veniversum Vivus Vici (and Veni Vidi Vici, that's I came, I saw, I won in English, it isn't?), Saint Sebastian as homosexuals' Saint in V's house, etc etc... I suppose there were a lot of other quotations that I have to find out.
Thanks, anyhow. :)
